Re: Ghibli 2018

I'm still a bit miffed that they chose The Cat Returns over Whisper of the Heart, but I'm still gonna try to see that & Porco Rosso (and maybe Pom Poko). Porco is one of my FAVES so that'll be awesome to see on the big screen!

Alita: Battle Angel delayed to Dec '18

Looks like the live-action Battle Angel Alita got pushed from a Summer movie to a Holiday movie now: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/fox-dates-murder-orient-express-sequel-pushes-alita-1084263 Makes me wonder if they took the buzz on social media seriously and are going to "fix" the...

Re: Mazinger Z Infinity

I wasn't able to see it either, since both me & Nitro have been trying to shake off these off-and-on colds. In our area, it was showing at a theater that was kind of out of the way, so with us both already feeling tired (not to mention having other things we were working on, anyway) we had to sk...

Re: looks like I'm looking at Lyrica

Another great article! I'm still jealous of a friend of mine who found some old Lyrica issues at one of the California Book-Offs that had Unico in them! What are the odds, right? XD

Possible Angel Cop re-release??

So I noticed some people I follow on twitter talking in a thread, and it sounds like Discotek (or I guess possibly one of the other anime companies Suvakis works with, but I'm thinking most likely Discotek) might have gotten Angel Cop?? Here's the tweets in question: tweet1.jpg tweet2.jpg tweet3.jpg...

Re: Review: Captain Harlock Space Pirate Dimensional Voyage (whew!)

Yeah, I think it's targeted towards new readers for the most part? Since it's running in a shounen magazine. Though I know a few older fans who have been enjoying it.
