Re: Hello from Japan

Welcome Kei,
Wow you have a W1, I was lucky back in the 90's to know 1 or 2 fans in the UK that had a W1 and they did conversions to pal from NTSC, and LD to pal VHS too! So glad to see you on-board :-)
You must have some collection by now?

Also seeing the dates ...

The Fandom directory

That' so good to know, is Lorraine on-line at all? It felt great getting "the Rose" in the post, and it still reads very well today!

Re: Convention Flyers (Pre-2000)

Hi, Found this, hope it brings back more memories for you all. Sadly I never did get over Sate-side for an Anime Con, but enjoyed my Pen-pals sending me poster and stuff!

Re: Protoculture Addicts

Protoculture Addicts was one of my first Fanzines that introduced me to the Anime Fandom, and Japanimation that the US & Canadian Fans had already found. I think it was issue 5 that I picked-up first (I did get 2 & 3) and from then on my collection grew thanks to my Canadian Anime Pen-Pal Da...
