Re: Convention Appearances 2018

I think I just spent an entire paragraph detailing how Hollywood was indeed after the nerd dollar, so I don't know that I'm kidding myself about anything. As far as the "magic number" of attendees being 30K or less, well, I guess it's a good thing that very few anime cons are larger than that - mos...

Re: Ghost in the Shell: Global Neural Network

I picked up this issue in this years Free Comic Book day stuff, I haven't had a chance to really read it yet. I'll be curious on how well it will do.

Re: Get Mighty Orbots on DVD Today!

Just finished this series last night. This was way too good be on TV at the time with the animation quality it had. There are areas where it was done on the cheap, but then will randomly add in some great animation during the actions scenes. It seems to let it self be open for another season on how ...

Re: Convention Appearances 2018

We met one creepy guy who was drawn to my friend dressed as Rangiku. It made me really happy that I decided to not cosplay as Rangiku as well, though I joked with my friend that we should both dress up as Rangiku in tandem next year and just take yuri shots with each other for shiggles. We hung out...

History of Animazement Panel 2017

I was at this panel last year and this seems to be the only record of its existence on Youtube. Phil Lee and William Bloodworth hosted the panel to talk about the cons humble beginnings and where the con got started from, along with great stories that did and didn't make it on both videos. This is r...

Riding Bean Project Kickstarter is now live!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/beanbandit/kenichi-sonodas-bean-bandit-new-anime-project I just backed the third perk and im the 35th person so far. I think the perks are a bit high for what they are offering, and maybe that might change. I do want more Sonoda work, so really if you compare to ...

Re: Should I tear out my magazine posters?

I know those issues were either stapled or non stapled together. If they are stapled, you just open the staple up and take the page out, not damaging anything (which is what I did with my old Newtype USA posters). If they aren't, then be really careful how you take them out. They should have a prefe...
