Re: Seven Seas licenses the classic, ORIGINAL Space Pirate Captain Harlock!

So.... um... is there going to be a 'Volume 4'? Wikipedia says that the original was 5 volumes, but I know that volume size can vary.. the original post says that it was going to be 3 volumes, and now, 2 years later, there are three and I read them and... is this how the original manga ended?

Re: Was Randall Stukey representative to anything?

I don't think Sue Shambaugh was making any sort of profit out of translating anime movies. I can't remember what she was charging, but certainly it wasn't anywhere near what a professional translator would charge. When we subtitled the Queen Millennia film we used her script and I don't think she c...

Re: Data on Convention Sizes

Why did they put DragonCon under the "tabletop" category? I thought they do all sort of sci-fi/fantasy stuffs there? Also, why is NY Comic-Con bigger than San-DIego? Is it because of the size of the hosting city, or there is a difference between West Coast and East Coast fandoms? And finally, I wou...

Re: the eternal orbit SSX eternal story

Re: Data on Convention Sizes

I .. apologize for posting? I just came across this on the internet and thought that it might be of interest to others here. I didn't think it was a trap to mine geeks, I just found the visual representation of comparisons between different conventions interesting and thought I would pass it along.

Data on Convention Sizes

I came across this -> https://i.redd.it/khzuekic9e431.png And thought that others here might find it interesting. The original data came from https://www.geeknative.com/66694/conventions/ I don't know what anyone else will think of it, but I thought seeing the relative sizes of, say, GenCon, Dragonc...
