I like to imagine we pioneered it but I know its probably not fact. Also, my exposure to cons was only the SFBay area. At that time, I was broke as a joke and joined staff so I could get in haha. Attending a con in a far off place was a serious pipe dream for me back then.

I don't exactly what it was all about but there was computer games, artists, food and a couple of cakes. Probably some Anime I suppose too! That was me! The Famicom is the NES in Japan. The carts are 60 pin vs 72 pin for the NES. Some NES games actually had converters in them from the factory for the same purpose. Macross was never released for the NES so I opened the shell of an original Famicom game, took the PCB out, bought a convert...
