Re: Blade Runner
I am a big Blade Runner fan. The new Blu-Ray transfers look amazing, I really can't believe how great they look. The lights of the city on the intro flyover pop like crazy. I would love to have Deckard's apartment, that place really is cool. Also I am a huge Vangelis fan and the score of the film is...

Re: The Show Off Your Old Days Stuff Thread
The Animeigo tapes are awesome looking. A lot of the ADV tapes I have are also colored. One of them is neon yellow with red silk screened label and red hubs. I haven't watched all of Kimagure Orange Road yet but have seen a few episodes and really want to watch the rest. I am pretty sure that this i...

Re: Mori's Introduction
Greetings Mori,
I am new here too. All those 80's shows we watched and didn't even know where from Japan were great. Man I love the intro song to SilverHawks.

Re: Hello everyone
Thanks for all the Greetings. I have a sealed copy of Eyes of Mars i got a few months ago from a thrift store. The tape had a $2 Dollar General price tag on it, so I guess that is were they ended up. I will have to watch it soon and tell you my thoughts.

Re: First AnimEigo interview?
This was a great read. I am very interested to here talk about the early days of how things got released and the relationships of the people here in the states dealing with japan. I scour old usenet posts all the time to read about things like this. 10-20 years from know all the info talked about no...

Re: FUJI-Q HIGHLAND - 4.1 - Gundam Crisis and Evangelion: WO
That place looks cool. The full scale Evangelion head inside is awesome. They really should have done a large scale figure poking out the top of the building to draw you in, the exterior of that building is pretty bland. Now that Hamataro exhibit is very exciting to look at from the exterior, very f...

Re: Hello everyone
I hear you there Heero. I love the lego store and being able to buy the pieces you want, would have been great growing up. Now about the following "being a Star Wars fan, it was almost a law". I remember the first time I brought up Star Wars with some of my High School friends that weren't...

Hello everyone
I was born in 1979 and my childhood was eaten up by two things Star Wars and Lego. That pretty much didn't change until I saw adverts for a new cable channel "SciFi". I remember the bumps and waited for a none stop SciFi Channel. I watched that channel 24-7. Then the adverts for Saturday A...
