This is kind of a necro-bump, but I've been watching the first few episodes, and I think they are quite well done.

It keeps the right tone, and I think the change to live action is a positive one.

What do others think?

Converted a few Macross Famicom carts to NES

I don't know what FAMICOM is but I know what NES is. This would convert for the Nintendo 64 system I believe.

Got me! I watched Gunbuster a bunch of times - damn near wore out the VHS tape. The first two episodes went a bit slow as they built up the plot, but then it got more engaging. You gave me a reason to go look. I'll have to figure out what Pocky looks like unwrapped, but I'm sure Google will provide ...
