Re: Denver Anime International (C/FO - Denver)?
At one point Frazier had a really in-depth story about her experience as a fan-turned-pro, but it looks like it's been scrubbed from the 'net. Or maybe I'm just searching for the wrong domains on archive.org. Fascinating story that that touched a bit on the early days of the DAC, though I can unders...

Re: Fansub tape labels?
There was also a brief interlude between VHS and digisubs, that of the Hong Kong DVDs, specifically with the rise of Ebay. Some had fantastic subtitles, and some bordered on complete incoherence, but it was still a way to get titles never released here, then or now. I've always wanted a bit more in...

Heart Cocktail
Put together a short article about Seizo Watase's Heart Cocktail comic and the late-night anime that was based on it. You can read it over at zimmerit.moe: http://bit.ly/heartcocktail Almost the entire show is available on YouTube. Without a grasp of Japanese a lot of the episodes will likely be kin...

Re: Anime and the MovieCD format
Oh that's possible!! I'll have to keep my eye out for ads in my old Animericas next time I'm flipping through em & see if that's what it was lol. Software Sculptors, the company that released the BGC screensaver, also released some CPM/US Manga Corps titles on CD as Quicktime-compatible videos....

Re: Animation of Nippon Inter-Mediary Exchange (A.N.I.M.E.)
A puzzler from the Venice FTP mirror. (^_^) Early photo-doctoring? Some other story? Anime Expo '92 was held in July. G...
