Re: The Anime Nostalgia Podcast & Blog
Listened to the episode and (unfortunately read the ANN comments): I thought the audio was fine - a little low maybe but I was able to easily adjust my phone and car stereo. You can definitely tell there's a good bit of production work, care and research that goes into your show but try not to let t...

Re: The Anime Nostalgia Podcast & Blog
New podcast episode is up! I solve the ancient fansub mystery of who is Miami Mike (sidenote: that infamous screencap originated here, back when the site was named animepast.net!) http://animenostalgia.blogspot.com/2018/03/the-anime-nostaliga-podcast-ep-61.html Bonus ANN article to go along with it...

^ Getting dying malls to contribute space for makerspaces/hackerspaces would be an excellent way to get traffic to return to them but I doubt they'd go for it because I don't think hackerspaces necessarily generate things like "revenue" that can be put towards "rent".

Re: Atlanta Scifi Expo, anyone going?
Stopped by to meet up with DKop this afternoon - it was fun. Good panel today! The idea of a convention in a mall is ... weird. There were a lot of kinks with it, some that went right and a lot that probably should be ditched. It was very weird to sit in an audience for an anime panel in an ... empt...

Re: Convention Appearances 2018
I sent a PM to Daniel a few months ago about some potential members, but haven't heard back from him. Hope he's OK. Yeah, same. I'm hoping it's just another bout of him being just super busy IRL and not more health issues :( Does anyone have another way to contact him rather than the forum? I haven...

Haven't heard about this - but if you're in town, I'll see if I can swing by for your panel and we can meet up afterwards!

Re: What are you Watching?
Drew, the "Crystal Clair" 999 film was a short film released for Toei's Manga Matsuri film series in March of 1980. Like the Harlock film "Secret Of The Arcadia", it's a retelling of a TV episode, and I don't know how much of the film is new animation, though I know some of it m...
