Re: Convention Appearances 2018

probably going to be having a social time get together Saturday night 9-ish, everybody track me down at AWA and I'll let you know where (don't know yet myself)! We'll just crash your hotel room like last year, but have way more people. Hearing Neil Nadleman and another guy talk about 70's sci fi sh...

Re: Did the Pokemon boom affected you?

Pokemon came out in 6th grade for me in the fall of 1998, and it hit the airways during the week on WB (now CW) at about 6:30 AM EST in my area, so kids had a chance to see it before heading to school. This really helped in getting it popular while kids like me ate breakfast and got ready for school...

Re: Dragon Ball Z movies coming to theaters this fall!

Yea, I caught the Broly movie last night with a buddy of mine. It's the first time for me to see it, and I really enjoyed it. There was a bit of a conundrum, since at the same time the Regal theater was showing Smoky and the Bandit , and I was more hard pressed to see that film over a DBZ movie with...

Re: Chasing after the long-lost American Sailor Moon

I remember it being on at 6 or 630 in the mornings on WB in syndication for a while back in 2001. I think it worked since Cartoon Network was still running Sailor Moon on Toonami and there was a Toonami type program block on the WB at one point, but either way both stations had some partnership to s...

Re: Maiden Japan releasing complete Xabungle and Ideon in December '18

Yea more room means better quality SD version episodes. Upconverting them to the best quality is more important than trying to cram everything on a disk for lower costs of production. I'd rather pay more for better quality than a slimmer bluray disc on my shelf.

Re: Anime on DVD/BD wishlists

First time releases: Angel's Egg, I pretty much echo most of the stuff mentioned already, too. Just give us all the anime! I think if an official release were to come out, it would be a crime NOT to add that "In the Aftermath" movie included with the release, so really I'd categoriz...
