Re: Japanese Music - J-Pop, enka, J-Rock, Japanese hip-hop,

kndy, I really like how you arranged and shot these CD's in these photos. They look great. I haven't listened to very much J-Pop, except for random stuff back in the day. I really like the Japanese pressed CD's, they really do a good job of making the package art better.

Re: The Show Off Your Other TV/Movies Stuff Thread

Well, I finally moved all the anime I have on my FilmAF account into a separate folder: http://miaka.filmaf.com/owned/anime I haven't updated it in a while, but that's the bulk of it atm, I think. I've been getting a lot of random DVDs of swap sites lately, so my collection's kind of all over the p...

Re: Guilty Pleasures

He-Man and She-Ra did have some beautiful backgrounds. There are a bunch of the cels for sale on ebay. I would like to have one of the really long pan shot backgrounds. The stories in those shows where pretty lame. I almost enjoy the She-Ra show more now just because Princess Adora is a stronger cha...

Re: Guilty Pleasures

A lot of 80s cartoons are guilty pleasures for me. They seemed awesome when I was a kid, now they are only awesome during parties of drunk friends. But I still keep buying the boxsets. One specific one I've been enjoying recently is Jem. I was never really into most girly shows, but I can't stop. I...

Re: The Show Off Your Old Days Stuff Thread

Nordstar, that is an awesome collection. I also remember the multi-colored VHS tapes. I think my Those Who Hunt Elves ones were white. I need to go through my tapes at some point and cull the ones I have on DVD. How was Plastic Little? I bought it, but its been low priority in my backlog. Video Com...

Re: Blade Runner

On one of the city billboards is a quick shot of Panthro from Thundercats. Its like an Easter egg overload. No way! Which episode was that? Its in the first episode. I just watched a video yesterday on YouTube with the guy from Mythbusters showing off his collection of replicas of Deckard's blaster...

Re: The Show Off Your Other TV/Movies Stuff Thread

Does anyone use Film Aficionado to catalog their stuff? I have an account there. It's handy, but the only thing I hate is that I can't make separate lists of genres (ie I can't section off my anime from my live-action, etc). I use FilmAF http://pnordstrom.filmaf.com and I have separate lists for st...
