Re: The old-school anime DVD/BD news thread.
Right Stuf announced Gundam ZZ for June, DVD and BD. I want, but man I am going to wait until some knowledgeable people review it. I will NOT be burned on any 'crippled to prevent reverse importation' Gundam release. Yes I'm prickly about it, thank you Bandai and Zeta Gundam. :) Way out of the loop...

Re: What are you Watching?
I'm looking forward to watching the sequel. I've also been checking out the TV series and hope to get into the OVAs after. I remember the sequel as being the better of the 2. Never saw the 3rd. In fact, I saw the sequel in the theater at a special showing before leaving Japan. Was quite the experie...

Re: Old Scripts... are they around?
Old thread, I know, but wondering if anyone knows anything else? Todd, you used to release your scripts on that early version of the internet... know of any places that might have a backup? By today's standards, they take up zero space. Shit, you could probably fit every fan-subbed script on a thumb...

Re: What are you Watching?
Totally dug Megazone 23 part 1, but mainly b/c it's so ridiculous... and the guy actually got laid. How often does that happen in anime these days? I mean, besides form an octopus man. The other awesome thing about the Megazone 23 was the attention to detail of the city - it's modeled pretty accurat...

Re: What are you Watching?
I've moved away from Japan, and have been rolling through some oldies to keep the Japanese level up. It's not the best due to the dramatcis (or lack thereof) but I read a Japanese book last summer which was a true challenge. Anywho... Going through some old episodes of Gatchaman here and there. Mind...

Re: Random archive.org Way Back Machine Recommendations Thre
I'd like to see a place that has the timed scripts archived. In the BBS days, they were everywhere if you got onto those BBS's and to a smaller extent FTP sites. Seems they're all in the ether now which is sad. Hours and hours of work gone.

Re: In The Theaters
Sorry for the late update. The Baus Theater in Kichijouji is doing their Bakuon Egai Sai (Explosion Movie Festival) starting on 12/7 to 12/19. The theme? Katsuhiro Otomo. They kicked it off w/ the digital remaster of Akira. It sold out, quite quickly. It plays again on 12/19, to another sold out cro...
