Re: What are you Watching?
I decided to watch the first episode of Bakuon!! for this spring anime season. I haven't willingly wanted to watch an anime in its current season since I watched Stella Womens Academy back in the summer anime season of 2013. It's... about what I can expect. It's pretty darned moe, and im gonna stick...

Re: New Vision of Escaflowne HD Dub Kickstarter
Yea I saw that on Twitter, so you were the one that wrote the comment? https://twitter.com/abzeronow/status/714841608416587776 To me, it doesn't surprise me. Funimation has time and time again done shady things to its fans and the company. I think they are way to big for themselves and it is startin...

Re: The old-school anime DVD/BD news thread.
So by saying that, surely Bubblegum Crisis, Gunsmith Cats or Gall Force won't get criticism because its an all female cast in which they all kick ass in space and in exoskeleton mech suits. I've always wondered how the feminist community would treat those series, then again, better if I don't know. ...

Re: The old-school anime DVD/BD news thread.
Mark Simmons once pointed out that Tomino is just about the only Gundam director who ever gave women anything truly interesting to do in the Gundam universe. You look at all the other major non-Tomino Gundams out there--Gundam 00, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam 0080, Gundam 0083--and I think Simm...

Re: 90's Sci-Fi Channel Saturday Anime
Now that you mention it, just how long did the Sci-Fi channel keep airing anime anyhow? If you're talking DBZ Garlic Jr. arc, then it must have been relatively late. The time period I mentioned was that April of 2000, which was when the Toonami Rising Sun program block on Cartoon Netowork first hit...

Re: The old-school anime DVD/BD news thread.
Zeta Gundam to me is the only anime that the protagonist is an a**hole. I mean, Kamille pushed cripples down mountains in those Kilimanjaro episodes if I recall. That and he would shoot Titans forces on drop to earth, then would take the blame off him by saying "WELL, THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR BE...

Now that you said that, I do have an android app that scans over texts and translates it. It wont be a 100 percent accurate translation, but if its enough to work with I will start using that. Thanks for point that out to me, I feel like a dunce

Re: Old Scripts... are they around?
The only scripts I have come from the Berkeley Anime book I found at an Animazement a couple of years ago, which is pretty detailed for a published book:
