Re: Anime T-shirts and Merch from the 90's and earlier

There is a prior thread about shirts here: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=1348
If you are looking to B/S/T, then the other index topic will be more helpful. For instance, I have old posters up for grabs...no shirts sadly.

Re: Black Friday/Holiday sales 2018

The RS holiday sale seems better than their BF one; I couldn't pass up the Marmalade Boy BD Set for $36. I did have to buy one more item to get free shipping, but I'd rather shop there than Amazon.

Re: Omega Zone 23 Pitch Document

Another informative gem on ARTMIC titles! I appreciate the downloadable files for Omega City and Gall Force. Maybe if Sonoda takes audience questions at ACEN next year I can ask him about star front.

FS: Last Laserdiscs w/Autographs

Not wanting to commit any shelf space to the grand old format, I'm offering for sale these last discs in my collection: UTENA Vol.1 (KILA-341) The start of the 1997 TV show with interior booklet autographed by Ikuhara and Saito. I believe the signatures were from Animazement 2000. I discarded the di...

Re: Anyone here sort of give up on newer anime?

The background artists, storyboarders, young workers on that old stuff who are now the leaders of the anime industry. Let new fans know about the artistic childhood of their favorite artists. Another way is to follow the family tree. Look for interviews with directors; which directors working today...

Re: Anime shirts

My modest shirt collection is a mix of con shirts and production shirts dating back to the mid-90's. For a time, ACEN did a great job of putting GoH art on their shirts. I wore the '98 Sonoda tee this year which got a few old-timer salutes. My favorite con shirt though is from AX96; that one has col...

Space Family Carl Vinson!
I remembered right after digging up that old print-out. Cast of creatures too weird to forget.

Re: What are you Watching?

Persona 4 [2011] & Persona 4 Golden [2014] (I finished both. I had set my expectations very low because video game anime adaptations have a very poor track record, and it was fine given that. The only reason to watch this is if you played the games and wanted to see the characters go through th...
