That text looks much better to me, but well see if other people have a different opinion to it.

Id stiffen the drop shadow behind the "anime and the 90's" font and make the text much brighter. I'd lessen the grey color and go for something more whiter to make it pop out. Also ad a bit of a drop shadow behind the big blue Z line you got going behind the title.
