Re: What do you think of doing an online anime convention?

This is a really cool idea. I don't know if this will ever actually bloom into something, but you've definitely captured my interest! lol

Re: Anyone here read American or European comics?

I don't know if any of you followed DC comic books, but personally I'll read anything drawn by George Perez or written by Marv Wolfman. I'm currently reading the Deathstroke series that spawned in the early 90's. I was reading Teen Titan issues of the same era, but my local comic shop has had a dras...

Re: 90's Sci-Fi Channel Saturday Anime

Ahaha the Rising Sun block on Toonami. I remember the Midnight Run fondly and how during the time of the garlic junior saga, the Gundam wing series was nearing an end. I actually have a VHS tape recording of many DBZ and Gundam wing eps that aired on the midnight run during that year (it was like th...

Anime and the 90s Video Project

It's here folks. My Anime and the 90's video is finally completed and up on YouTube for viewing. I'm still a tad nervous about how it'll be received, but I'm satisfied with what came out nonetheless. It's not too long at about 6 min or so. The ones after this will have a bit more of a historical asp...

Re: Angel's Egg streaming...by Tokyopop??

But this new streaming thing is just bizarre. I don't really see a way in which this benefits them, unless it's an attempt to gather youtube ad revenue for a show they don't own? So strange. At first I thought it was a money thing too, but after talking to him, he seems really sincere and enthusias...

Re: Angel's Egg streaming...by Tokyopop??

Sounds like a desperate move to make a lucrative profit off of a anime they couldn't do much with (based on the idea that angels egg was one of the things they couldn't push on Funi like akage suggested).

Re: Forum get-togethers.

If everything goes well, me and a college buddy will be going to Colossalcon in Sandusky, Ohio. It'll be June 2nd to 5th. We're going there for potential voice actor interviews as well as getting a chance to meet with and talk to the voice of Shinji Ikari: Spike Spencer. The other two actors we hope...

Re: Angel's Egg streaming...by Tokyopop??

I absolutely love angel's egg. I wonder why Tokyopop would use fan subs... This is very cool none the less If they end up giving it a official release, I hope its a more proper one then this (I think they're sorta testing the waters which might explain the lackluster subbing, but I may be wrong, jus...
