Re: Hello

runesaint, This is a fantastic piece of writing that really touches my heart. I to feel like there was something special about those days. It sounds silly to say this, but they felt almost magical, even. Being an anime fan today is easy -- more than you could ever want is just a few mouse clicks awa...

Re: Hi everyone!

Welcome! Seems like we both like a lot of the same shows. Nice Sakigake Otokojuku avatar. Interesting to hear that you're watching on VHS still; as, yes, the good old days. Yes, seems like we'll get along just fine! Glad you joined! Welcome!!

There's a whole section of the forum where the members here can show off their work. We'd love to see your ...

Re: What do you think of doing an online anime convention?

I think this is a super cool idea...! My time is kind of limited, but I'd be interested in helping where I can. We can use my web server if you need somewhere to host this, possibly with custom software if necessary. I keep mentioning the "online anime club" idea where people connect to a ...

Re: What are you Watching?

Finally finished GeGeGe No Kitarou (70's). Took me long enough. Now wanting to make a run through Kamen No Ninja Akakage. I must've tried to start watching this series 3 or 4 times by now, but other things get in the way making me drop it. Love what I've seen of it so far though. 5th time's a charm?

Now that you mention it, just how long did the Sci-Fi channel keep airing anime anyhow? If you're talking DBZ Garlic Jr. arc, then it must have been relatively late.

To confirm, this promo is on one of the official Japanese VHS tapes released for the TV series; don't remember which one now, but have it around here somewhere.

90's Sci-Fi Channel Saturday Anime

Anyone else remember getting up early on the weekend to watch anime on the Sci-Fi Channel? I wasn't much of an early riser at that time so sometimes I wouldn't be able to make it; still have good memories, though! These were on the old channel, so you may have seen them already, but I've (re-)upload...

If it is I've never seen it. Again, could be good material for "online club meetings" where we watch stuff together.
