The Lucky Finds bragging thread
Ok, so on some forums I've been on there've been "bragging" threads, so I thought this might be a good idea for here. Have you ever found something totally awesome for a STEAL?! Brag about it here so we can all be jealous of you and bask in your awesomeness. XD I'm a serial thrift store ju...

Re: The Show Off Your Figures/Models Stuff Thread
Wow, some beautiful figures! I don't have nearly as many as I used to, since I had to sell a bunch when I moved...I do still have a few, though, maybe I'll take some pics later. :D Greg, I have some of those same Sakura Wars ones! (The Sakura, Kohran, and Iris in their uniforms.) Totally jealous of ...

Oh my gosh! I remember that station, too!! That's definitely where I saw Galaxy Express originally. I remember when I went through a period of time as a kid where I had sleeping problems (I would sleepwalk, or just plain couldn't sleep), so I would watch that station on the couch in our living room ...

Re: The old-school anime DVD/BD news thread.
Oh, WOW, I knew that they were releasing all 3 on blu-ray, but I didn't realize they were gonna be region free! O__O That's awesome! I'd totally buy all of them, but...around $500 for each set after shipping is WAY too much for me. ;3; (I'd want to get each complete series, so that would be close to...

Re: The "GREG IN JAPAN" Thread...
oh, yes! That's another place I'd love to go to. When a friend of mine was in Japan for a few years, she went there several times (I think she went multiple times in cosplay, too--I think as Haman, but I can't remember.) and she'd post pics of the food, which always looked awesome.

Re: Favorite Anime Openings/Endings?
Oh man, I used to be an OP/END theme JUNKY. Seriously. I would make mix tapes of nothing but op/end themes to listen to on my walkman whenever I walked anywhere. (I still have lots of them on my ipod now, who am I kidding?! orz) I love the ones already listed...here's some more faves: "Kimi Iro...

Re: Record of Lodoss War soundtrack has shot way up in price
I LOVE the ending song, Fantasia of the Wind. Me, too, that was a favorite of mine in high school! I've noticed a LOT of officially released older anime soundtracks are super expensive now. I remember at one point in the late 90s, you couldn't even GIVE some of them away...now they're going for a t...

Thanks! I'm going to see if I can get my boyfriend on here, too, I'm sure he'd like this place as well. I've also passed the link on to a couple of friends, hopefully they'll check it out as well!Heibi wrote:Welcome to the lounge. Good to see we're growing.

Whoa, just watched your vid on the 8-bit Cafe...that place looks awesome! Definitely the kind of place I'd want to go to if I ever manage to visit Japan. (Of course, there are so many cool themed cafes/bars/etc there that I may never get to visit them all ;3; There's a Sailor Moon themed cafe in Osa...
