Re: Storing VHS Tapes
Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
I'll have to agree with you Steve, I don't particularly like stacking things 2 deep. Still, that Kilby bookshelf you suggested looks nice Ryoran!

Storing VHS Tapes
I've been working to tidy up my collection lately, and I'm finally facing the biggest hurdle: storing all of my various VHS tapes. I am aware that building or picking up some shelving with adjustable height is probably the easiest overall solution here...but I can't hep but feel like a more speciali...

Re: Protoculture Addicts
Count me as a fan of Protoculture Addicts! I still have several issues; and often reference them when I need to know something about those years of fandom that I can't seem to find on the internet. I have to credit Protoculture Addicts for getting me into Kimagure Orange Road (those episode summarie...

Re: The Manga Recommendations Thread
I haven't been reading too much manga lately, but I have been enjoying Jaco the Galactic Patrolman, the latest creation from the mind of Akira Toriyama. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys Toriyama's work! You can get it pretty easily in print or digital format from Viz. There aren't any collected v...

Re: Fanpages - an internal dilemma
I also miss fan pages! I'd love to see them make a comeback...but it would be so much more difficult than it used to be. I remember searching for DragonBall websites in the nineties, and the majority of results I'd come across (by a wide margin) were fan pages. Now, you have to seek those pages out ...

Re: Question about Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins
I don't know Chinese, but through Japanese language study I can read some of the characters. The Chinese name for the Dragonball series is 七龍珠, which you can see in the title of the live action movie. The thing is, 珠's most basic meaning is not "ball", but rather "pearl," and, b...
