Chirashi collecting

Finally found out what all these movie and video store mini posters are called...Chirashi. I have a ton of old ones from the early to mid1990s that my bud sent me. Going to be scanning them in batches, 300 DPI and will post them to my online storage. I might try to sell some of them on eBay but currently looking at other items for sale. So, two new things in the past couple months, first Manhua (Chinese comics) and now Chirashi...

I had some Chirashi in the 90s/early 00s, but I think I sold em all one of my last moves. I do think they're pretty cool, I like seeing logos/designs they come up with for non - Japanese movies, they can look pretty neat.

Just found a couple more plastic bags full of posters and chirashi. Lots of advertising art you don't see over here. Many of the posters and chirashi have artwork that does not appear on film and TV series releases anywhere else which makes them highly collectible, at least in Japan. Here, not so much though I have seen some on eBay go for good money. I guess the hobby will have to grow over here.

I used to have STACKS of game chirashi. Some of the arcade ones and Famicom were pricey.

Thanks for that link! This would have been great for just after my bud who owned the last arcade in town died and they liquidated everything there. The only thing I have left is a box of Dreamcast parts including some circuit boards and misc. parts. The arcade had parts going back decades though I should have picked up the pinball back glass artwork as well as many videogame artwork pieces. Well, I only have so much room to store things...

Hey out of those parts, you wouldn't happen to have anything related to a NAOMI 2 board, or a card reader for the Initial D ver 1-3 machines?
