So sad, the creator of Lupin the Third has left us. But he lived a pretty long life! RIP.

It's rare for such a man to persist so long in this industry, especially someone who worked tirelessly like Monkey Punch. That really show how much passion can push an artist.

Maybe this is a good time for people to make a tribute to Lupin the III. 30 years ago was when the first Lupin TV special (Lady Liberty) came out, right?

Yup, the first TV special was April 1, 1989. I've been seeing a lot of artists on Twitter posting Lupin tribute art for Monkey Punch's passing, it's been very sweet. His work was def a huge inspiration to a lot of people!
