Wow, first Monkey Punch dies of pneumonia at 81, now Koike at 82 of the same thing. So sad....RIP to one of manga's greats. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2 ... ay/.145900

RIP Sir!
Lone Wolf and Cub was the manga I started with back in the late 80s (with issues still boxed in my closet). I had to get it by mail order since I lived in a wasteland with no comic/game shops. I should acquire the rest of Crying Freeman.

It should be noted that Koike's last tweet was talking about how much he loved and respected Monkey Punch. A class act all the way. https://soranews24.com/2019/04/19/lone- ... nga-rival/

Damn, not another one. I'm just waiting for Crying Freeman stuff to spike in price, good thing I got the Discotek set and part of the manga. Same goes with Offered. Both lived really good achieved lives in their fields.
