So I had my bus tickets and everything to go to the Winter WonFes event in February, but then there was that great blizzard with record snowfall.
So now I am doubly excited about the Summer WonFes coming up in a couple of weeks. The Summer Wonder Festival will be held on July 27th. I'm looking forward to seeing the garage kits for sale, as well as the company exhibits. It is about three times the size of the Shizuoka Hobby Show, however it is held only one day!
My video coverage of the company showroom from last year's summer event is here:

And my photographic coverage of the private exhibition hall is here:

I can't recall if Bandai had a direct presence at this show or if their stuff was just shown through Dengeki Magazine, but I am hoping that they will be there so that I can see their upcoming Star Wars stuff up close.

Here is the first video! This is the two large halls for private vendors. My video focused primarily on the garage kits, naturally. There's actually quite a lot of other stuff sold at Wonder Festival, such as jewelery, various artworks, etc.

Here is a video of the company showroom:
Here's the link on YouTube.
Here's the link on DailyMotion.
It was nice seeing stuff like figures of the Yamato 2199 girls and even Valkyra Chronicles, but I found myself not really caring much about all the big tittied girl figures from anime I had no idea about and was itching to leave. By the time I arrived at this hall, I had already spent four hours in the other two halls for the private vendors. In this video, however, you'll see plastic models by Fine Molds, Fujimi, Plum, and Volks/Zokei Mura.
