It's been hard keeping this one a secret, but Viz hired me to write a little about Maison Ikkoku to help promote the series re-release!! What an honor! You can see it on their instagram stories, but I also saved a video of it, too: https://twitter.com/bunnycartoon/status ... 8118046721
A blog post version will be going up later as well!
Wow- Congratulations! I read over the post and you did a nice job of introducing the appeal of Maison Ikkoku to a younger audience. It's always quite something to be a fan for so long, and then be hired by the company to do something related to it.

Thank you so much!! Yeah, it felt kinda surreal to have Viz pay ME to do something for them, after the years of giving them MY money lol
Also...I just put up the survey for the 2020 year in review! If you're in the US, fill it out, shape what I'll talk about in the final episode of the year, and maybe in a cool prize! http://animenostalgia.blogspot.com/2020 ... again.html
Thanks for the hard work! I always enjoy your years in review. Hope that next year things will get much more better!
Also, I just want to ask if you have done any episode about voice actors, like "where are they now" type of thing. I've just read this manga about Megumi Hayashibara, which is quite a fascinating tale.
I haven't done any seiyuu episodes yet, but I've def thought about it!! Esp Megumi Hayashibara, since she was such a powerhouse in the 90s. That manga is great! I'm kinda glad it's still on the internet for people to discover, lol.
This month on the podcast: not only will I be trying something different, but I'm also giving away a copy of the new Lupin III CG movie on bluray! Check out the details here: https://animenostalgia.blogspot.com/202 ... dcast.html
