Let's Anime about TCJ
I just put up a new Let's Anime piece about TCJ, the studio behind Prince Planet, Gigantor, and other 60s anime hits. It's sort of the blog version of the panel I did at AWA last fall, but with new info. Part Two is coming in a few days...

Re: Let's Anime about TCJ
Part Two of the TCJ article is completed and up at Let's Anime! I had to do a quick rewrite on part one and a larger rewrite on part two, once it was pointed out to me that TCJ and Japan Tele-Cartoons (aka Nihon Doga aka TV Films aka Terebi Films aka Terebi Doga) were two completely different organizations, in spite of what I'd been believing for years. Never assume, kids.
I still don't know if the Marine Boy/Dr. Zen Terebi Doga is the same Terebi Doga that worked on Tobikage. Maybe I'll never know.

Very cool! I went back and re-read the first before reading part 2. Lots of cool info that I never knew before! Man, you really did research the hell out of this. Nice work!
