Here's my collection.
These should be pretty self-explanatory. I can't remember how I found the Lum one, but I am particularly fond of it. I believe I bought the Kiki ones at the Animate in Ikebukuro, and I may have bought the Lum one there (or maybe the Nakano Broadway Building).
The LOTR one I bought at a Warner Mycal Movie theater when I went to go see the movie. (I had to wait FOUR MONTHS for that movie to come to Japan!)
The one with the bridge is the Akashi O-hashi bridge. This bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world, connecting Akashi (just west of Kobe) to the island of Awaji in the Seto Inland Sea (Seto Naikai). There is a similar bridge that connects Awaji to Shikoku, but it isn't as long. Awaji Island was the epicenter of the great Hanshin Earthquake that decimated Kobe in 1995.
The Rose of Versailles ones came with the DVD box sets.
The Kaze Tachinu one is my most recent addition. I bought it at the Ghibli Donguri shop in Tokyo Station.

I love shitajiki something fierce! Sadly my collection is in the storage. D: But I do still collect them, I find myself buying them online though since conventions will just sell their leftovers and newer shitajiki, so I hardly ever find any that way. I love your Lum and Kiki ones!

I used to have a HUGE collection, but mine's kinda small now...I should go dig it out of my closet and take a photo.
Aww, the Powerpuff Girls one is cute! I don't think I've ever seen that Lum one, very nice.

Mine is in storage too
Gosh... you're tempting me though to take it out. haha!
Sometimes I still collect them when I really dig the art itself. Sometimes I'll respond to the design of the shitajiki (like a clear Totoro one) but for the most part it's all about the linework and characters present.
I also get them sometimes in some of the girls magazines I order. (Sometimes PASH! includes them.)
I also collect clearfiles too -_-
Also don't use these either. But at least they're easy to store unlike figures.

Thanks! I was very blown away when I saw the Lensman one, and for such a good price, too.

Super jealous of that Macross one! ;o;
Re: Show us your shitajiki (pencil boards)!
I collected pencil boards to have something con guests could autograph, and because they were affordable compared to cels.
Here are just the ones autographed over the years. I have an UTENA movie one with sigs too, but the metallic ink pens used that session ended up smearing a bit.
