Podcast interview with Bob Beaver (C-ko) about anime parody dubs

The roughly mid-90's and earlier (generally pre-Toonami, pre-anime boom) era of anime & manga fandom: early cons, clubs, tape trading, Nth Generation VHS fansubs, old magazines & fanzines, fandubs, ancient merchandise, rec.arts.anime, and more!

An interview with fansubber, parody dubber, and old-time Usenet troll Bob Beaver, aka C-kO of C-ko's Duplication Service and later CDS Productions. (^_^)

I listened to this yesterday at work and it was a really interesting piece; though, the writing/scripting piece for parody dubs takes precedent, which makes sense since it appears the podcast's whole purpose is centered around writing. Very interesting to hear about some of the technology they used but that's probably just me.

Would love to hear more about the technical piece of fandub production and much more around the C-ko Duplication Service (which I used in the very late 90s and early 2000s a handful of times).
