The Lucky Finds bragging thread

The roughly mid-90's and earlier (generally pre-Toonami, pre-anime boom) era of anime & manga fandom: early cons, clubs, tape trading, Nth Generation VHS fansubs, old magazines & fanzines, fandubs, ancient merchandise, rec.arts.anime, and more!

I'm running low on bedtime stories for my daughter when what should appear out of an old box but this Nausicaa book! AkibaRen podcast co-host Richard gave me this ages ago when he was cleaning up his old house (as well as the Laputa book), so I went searching and found vol. 1 on eBay yesterday for a whole 10 bucks. I'll take some pictures when it comes in next week.

I snapped it up quickly because looking through the results, I found this auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Nausicaa- ... xyjK1RDuFY .
