There's a ton of stuff on Amazon Prime video right now. Found after a cursory search:

  • Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie 1994
  • Goku Midnight Eye 1989
  • Fist of the North Star 1986
  • Black Jack: The Movie 1996
  • Arcadia of My Youth 1982
  • Lily C.A.T. 1987
  • Urusei Yatsura: Beautiful Dreamer 1984
  • Robot Carnival 1987
  • Slam Dunk 1993
  • Swiss Family Robinson 1989
  • Rurouni Kenshin
  • The Legend of Snow White 1997
  • Genesis Climber MOSPEADA (English Subtitled)1983
  • Tales Of Little Women 1986
  • Super Dimension Fortress Macross (English Subtitled)1983

A good chunk of those are also streaming for free on Asian Crush & AC's offshoot, Midnight Pulp! (Amazon Prime got them through a streaming deal partnership with Asian Crush iirc.) So if you don't have Prime you can check a lot of em out there (I don't think they have a PS4/XB app, but they have phone and Roku ones, and streaming websites).

As for Netflix, I know they have Castle of Cagliostro, Rurouni Kenshin, and Robotech. That's about all they have in way of older shows unless you count Pokemon?

FYI I try to keep an updated list on my podcasts' tumblr of all the older stuff that's available to stream for free online in North America: http://animenostalgia.tumblr.com/post/5 ... r-post/amp

"Upcoming Netflix Original" ... "Saint Seiya".
According to https://www.cnet.com/au/news/netflix-or ... ote-japan/

Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya
This 12-episode reimagining of the classic "Saint Seiya" series will feature a group of heroes equipped with magical armor based on the constellations. They're defending the reincarnation of Greek goddess Athena against the other Olympian gods.

Shinseiki Evangelion is supposed to be coming to Netflix this spring. I can't wait to see what video/audio quality it will bring. I am hoping this is a precursor for a BD release for us in R1.

And say what you want, this is one of the big titles I remember from Anime Club days in the late 90's.
Is there such a thing as Too Much Anime?
