I hope so, too. If Toei is smart, they'll do their best to make it look really slick & cool
...BUT its Toei so who knows. 😅

For real. If not just their typical corner cutting, I could see them grossly misjudging its international appeal by either playing hardball for international licenses OR just ignoring foreign markets all together.

I think to paraphrase a statement I heard Gerald from Anime World Order state regarding Toei and their animation shortcuts when they reviewed Dragonball Z Resurrection F: "If it came down to Toei having to quality animation in order to save the human race, we would be so screwed!" They can do amazing scenes when they put the time in, and then completely screw up the next scene with animation shortcuts. It's way more noticeable when its on the big screen.

Lately it feels like if it's not a Pretty Cure title, Toei really has to work to not phone half of it in. Although the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie was a marked improvement.
