Evangelion-R - Fan Fiction Multimedia Site

Post by Guyver I »

During a recent bout of nostalgia, I recently, just out of curiosity, looked to see if a favorite site of mine from the late 90s was still in existence, and I was rather surprised to find that it was, in its entirety, and much as I had last seen it, well over a decade ago.

Evangelion-R was a fan fiction haven, dedicated to continuing the Evangelion-narrative beyond The End of Evangelion, or rather replacing The End of Evangelion, much as EoE replaced (to some degree) the original, television ending. It included the actual fiction, which was fantastic and very well-written and thought-out but also fan-art, fan-audio, fan-video and even voiced segments featuring the talents of members of the ADV Evangelion dub-cast, such as Tiffany Grant and Tristan McAvery.

A great resource I was happy to find, and experience again!
