I've been on a bit of an Atari kick lately. On the 7800, I've been playing Centipede, Food Fight, and Joust (all great conversions of the arcade games), and on the Jaguar I finally picked up Super Burnout and Brutal Sports Football. Super Burnout, in particular, is a lot of fun.
On more modern consoles, I'm a bit behind. I picked up Splatoon for the Wii U quite a while back, but have yet to play it. Hopefully I'll have a chance before Super Mario Maker comes out and takes up the majority of my gaming time.

They're having a Splatfest in Splatoon soon, you should play in that!! It's gonna be Transformers themed, which amuses me a lot. XDKame-Sen'nin wrote:I've been on a bit of an Atari kick lately. Nitro and I ended up buying Kirby's Return to Dreamland on the WiiU eShop because we never got around to buying a physical copy. It's a beautiful, challenging, and just plain fun game--plus you can play multiplayer, which is great. I'm glad I finally got a chance to play it. I might even say it's quickly becoming my 2nd favorite Kirby game next to the NES game.

It's worth it! It's a great game. The minigames are super fun, too!

Picked up an iCade adapter or $10 as they were clearing them out from several sources. Nice thing is they can be used with tabs and phones and not only Apple ones. Since they are blue tooth enabled, they will even work with my old Blackberry Playbooks. Since I also have the HDMI cables for that I should be able to use this by hooking it up to the TV and playing all my MAME and other games emulators this way. Can't go wrong or 10 bucks...

Re: What are you Playing?
I picked up a discounted new copy of Dragon's Crown this weekend. So I should be busy with that.

I loved my 7800! I played it until it stopped working. I didn't have Food Fight, but my cousin had it and it was real fun.Kame-Sen'nin wrote:I've been on a bit of an Atari kick lately. On the 7800, I've been playing Centipede, Food Fight, and Joust (all great conversions of the arcade games)

Fired up Princess Maker 2 last night. Forgot how addictive this was. Got a so-so ending. She grew up to become a martial arts instructor but her school closed down due to her terrible conversation skills which I neglected in favour of building her up into a tank warrior.

The 7800 really seems to be an underrated system. While it does have a somewhat small library, many of them are excellent games. It's also backwards compatible with 2600 games, which is a very nice touch. Glad to know I'm not the only one who enjoys the Atari 7800!greg wrote:I loved my 7800!
