Yeah, Edge of Tomorrow was pretty fun. Sort of reminded me more of a video game type movie than Groundhog Day. I've never actually read the original manga so I can't compare it to the original. I'm sure it's quite different because EoT still feels very Hollywood.

If you can ignore Cruise's personal life claptrap, he's actually become a pretty reliable action star for non-superhero movies. Jack Reacher, MI 4, MI 5, Edge of Tommorrow...all were solid popcorn munchers. His insistence on doing *some* of his own stunts for big action set pieces probably helps the WOW factor in some of his movies. The man is legit crazy to do these stunts (probably not a surprise :lol: ). But I guess being crazy does help the entertainment factor in this case.
