I had meant to post these pics I took sooner, but given how we just lost some recent posts, maybe it was luck I hadn't gotten around to posting these yet? Anyway, I took some holiday-themed pics for the podcast's Christmas and New Years "cards" with some of my anime figures/toys, so I figured I'd share them here for those who don't follow the blog/tumblr.
For the Christmas card, I thought my Arale-chan in a penguin outfit had a good wintery feel to it.
And for New Years, I actually wasn't going to take a photo at first, but then I realized, it's the year of the Monkey...and I had an Eva figure set that included Asuka dressed like a Monkey....so then of course I HAD to do it. I think it came out pretty well, considering I just kinda threw it together pretty quickly. (Gold tissue paper I had leftover from wrapping gifts made a neat backdrop, I think! )
I'm already trying to figure out what I might do for Valentine's day...I guess we'll see.
