Im familiar with the Famicom game and ive seen a commercial for it, but I haven't had a chance to check out the anime yet.

This show is the best kind of old cheese -- everyone is horrible, but somehow it manages to be hilarious. (As I an anime middle-schooler rather than an old-schooler, I played a bunch of River City Ransom for the NES when I was actually in middle school, so maybe I have a soft spot for "what-do-bullies-do-in-their-free-time" stories. ^_^ )
