I saw this on an arcade forum I'm a member on - if someone wants it, contact the guy.

The artwork looks like Macross DYRL
Macross Conversion DYRL maybe
Re: Macross Conversion DYRL maybe
Converted a few Macross Famicom carts to NES
I don't know what FAMICOM is but I know what NES is. This would convert for the Nintendo 64 system I believe.

I was wrong - it would be for a standard (beige box with the flip up front door) NES, not a 64.

Re: Macross Conversion DYRL maybe
So I know a thing or two about these old gaming consoles... Basically, the NES we got in the west was a rebranding of the Japanese Famicom, with some minor technical differences; Which is why the user in the linked thread was able to convert one into the other. Ergo, he's able to play an original Famicom game on an American Nintendo. This is quite neat, thanks for bringing it to our attention!
Re: Macross Conversion DYRL maybe
No problem! If I was a NES system owner (my son is) I'd probably jump on it.
But I'm not. I'm into the bigger games (the original Asteroids, Tempest, Asteroids Deluxe, Stargate, Robotron, Xenon Pinball and an old Chicago Coin Super Score.
