Hello hello. I'm kamuisoft (i like to be called Chip, but I didn't put it as my name for some reason) and I'm happy to be here. I prefer the cozy feeling of smaller forums in comparison to the turbulent ocean that is general social media...Ah....It's too much out there! I can't focus on it at all. So I hope that we can talk a lot about all sorts of otaku-type things. ^_^ I'm a younger fan for sure but I hope we can still talk about many things.
My biggest interest lies in visual novels, especially windows games right before the turn of the century. Leaf, elf, Alicesoft, things like that. But naturally those all circle back to anime so I'm a fan of that as well. My particular favorites are Gundam, Ashita no Joe, Utena, Tezuka stuff, and most whimsical spacey things from the 70's-early 80's. There is such a sweet spot there. I also adore classic shoujo-- more people should look at that! Such a burst of raw creativity! Hagio Moto is one of the greatest artists of all time, as far as I'm concerned.
Ah...I've been going on for a while... But recently, my friend gifted me something spectacular. All of the joe is mine... All of it... mwahahaha....
The record is very nice. Why did I take the picture on the dingy 'ol ground? No use now. Ignore that thing in the corner....
Anyhow, pleasure to meet you all. I don't know much about the 80's-90's experience of being an otaku but I would like to learn about it. I should really get going since I'm supposed to be at work. Farewell. ^_^)/
