In the past 2.5 years I still have to figure out where to put the boxes of mags from Japan by bud sent me every month. The postage alone must have killed him...and he sent the mags for almost 20 years! I have runs of New Type, My Anime, Animage, Animedia, etc. those alone would fill several book cases and these things are HEAVY!

Looking at an issue of Anime Janai (#32 March 1st, 1992) in the replies to my section talking about getting a new 50 MHz 486 for $2,500! Boy have times changed. My i5 laptop with 6 Gig of RAM and a 500 Gig hard drive cost $700...

Awww, Ryoran you should be proud! I sent like, dozens of drawings to Animerica and not a single one ever got published. XD I did get 2 drawings published in the "Letters" section of the old Oh My Goddess! monthlies, though (and one in an Evangelion monthly, too, I if I recall.)

That's an excellent idea -- We really need to be sending out more personal invitations to the people we know and/or bump into that would make good fits for this forum. Has anyone sent a message to this person yet? If not, I'd be happy to do it.

P.S.: I'm finally getting around to updating the Time Capsule on the site -- If anyone has any more submissions, post them now or forever hold your peace (or at least you'll have to wait to get "published" until the next round of updates).
