I thought Bandai Visual has disappeared by now. Or was that Bandai Entertainment? I never understood why it was necessary to have two different entities like that.

Bandai visual left US and then it became Bandai Ent focusing on activities in the US but then massive layoffs in the US in 2012. It's a sad state of where the anime industry is but I think that the this survey will help give an idea how things are with physical DVD/Blu-rays.

I know that among the Blu-ray community, anime is still purchased but elsewhere..
