Wow, that Mikaela girl is 13 years old? She looks like she's 23.
Kyari Pamyu Pamyu introduced me to a term: guro kawaii. Guro being short for grotesque, and of course kawaii meaning cute. Kyari seems to have championed this dichotomy of ideas and has made it popular here in Japan. I'm not a fan of her music, but I respect her for just being bizarre. I enjoy bizarre.
