Gives a list of pretty much all known anime conventions (in and outside the US). As for which ones are "good" that depends entirely on what you're looking for. Otakon (in Baltimore) and Anime Expo (in California) are the "biggest" (and generally have the largest industry presence and most impressive "guest" line-ups), but "best" is entirely subjective. I personally am in charge of http://www.ushicon.com (which is age-restricted to 18 and up), so I certainly think we're a good one, altho we're also very small comparatively speaking. (But I think that also helps us be more reminiscent of cons from the early 90s)
I've got other cons that I think are good ones, but as I said, much like which anime is "best" it depends entirely on what you're looking for.

Just want to third the recommendation that you go through the official US government channels.usamimi wrote:Yeah, I agree. With how much identity fraud goes on nowadays, it'd be safer to do it through the post office or other official channels.

Any third party is only going to add to your expense and wait.

Thanks for the warning. I will just go the post office route. It is a LOT cheaper! ^__^
