Been watching the Jojo's Bizarre Adventures TV Series now that Crunchyroll has it. In less than a week I managed to catch up with it while I've been working on other things. I've only ever really been familiar with the Stardust Crusaders story arc (since that's the one Viz brought over here and all), so seeing the other story arcs animated was a lot of fun. And Yes' "Roundabout" as the ending theme was pretty neat (awesome that Crunchyroll was able to get permission to air it with that!) Of course, now I'm kinda sad that I was never able to get all of Viz's copies of the manga they brought over and now there's some that's out of print....ugh. Go fig. XD

I will have to get my CrunchyRoll membership renewed. I got anime on Netflix and Hulu plus, but crunchyroll has the best selection. I have been watching a lot of Southpark on Hulu plus. My Netflix subscription been keeping busy also. I have been watching a lot of old Star Trek, Twilight Zone, and some Horror Movies.

Well, Crunchyroll has the most "new" anime, but actually Hulu Plus has the biggest selection of older titles. I actually like both because then I have a mix of older and newer options. :D

Oh crap. You have to pay for Crunchyroll? I thought it was ad-funded. Since I don't have an American income, keeping up with monthly payments for such a service isn't feasible for me.

You don't HAVE to pay for Crunchyroll! CR has a "premium" option, which allows you to stream through devices and watch things ad-free, as well as let you watch things a mere few hours after they air in Japan. (Premium users also get to read all the manga they want on CR's manga side as well.) Otherwise, free users have to wait a week for the new episodes to drop to "free" status before they can watch it.

Sometimes I get a paid account, sometimes I let it lapse. It really depends on the shows that are on that season for me. They also occasionally send me a code for a month of premium status, which is nice, then I binge-watch stuff I've been meaning to watch but haven't.

CR's stated that even free users generate revenue to the original creators with the ads they have to watch, so they make money from free users as well as premium ones. So you can watch it free, or pay a little to get perks.

Crunchyroll gives out so many 30-day trials too, at least bi-monthly, so I have only really paid for CR once. I usually pick Hulu Plus out of the two because I can watch more than anime.

With this talk of CR blocking VPNs, I may as well just not bother trying. I can imagine a lot of people using VPNs from overseas to use NetFlix, Hulu, and CR must be upset.

Actually, some titles on CR are valid world-wide. I've heard some overseas fans talking about how they do watch CR. I think it just depends on the title. Overseas fans seem to have less luck with Hulu, must have tighter restrictions.

Sitting down and watching Dallos. I simply refuse to believe this OVA is really as bad as its rep among fans says it is.
