What anime soundtrack are you listening to?

Post by greg »

I guess I'll start a thread on anime soundtracks we're either listening to or have recently listened to.

On our previous road trip to visit the in-laws, I brought with us the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack CD volume 1. I haven't listened to this in ages, and gosh, it is so fun to listen to! Next up was the KOR: Loving Heart soundtrack. Come to think of it, I still haven't bought the Singing Heart CD. Lastly, I had brought a Legend of the Galactic Heroes soundtrack. Since it is classical, and maybe because I drive a small K-car, many parts of the music were barely audible, but when I boosted the volume up, the loud parts blasted us. It really isn't suitable for being on the highway unless you don't drive a noisier, small engine car. D'oh!

On the last trip up there, I brought with us the Wings of Honneamise soundtrack. Ryuichi Sakamoto did such a fine job for that movie!

What've you listened to recently?

Typically, I listen to my Utena soundtracks. I like my Haibane Remnai, Fruits Basket, and His and Her Circumstances soundtracks. Sometimes I listen to my Ristorante Paradiso soundtrack when I looking for a tranquil mood. I like the more instrumental tracks. I really could go on and on, but I got to run errands before work.

Initial D is all I need.

But Rurouni Kenshin I also totally dig as well as Saint Seiya's.
