I enjoyed it as it plays early in the story-line, The CG AT'S were a bit of put-off though for me.

Each new series/OVA explains more in the story-line and fill in gaps of the story. Some staff is also explained in the games.

The PS2 game explains well who Ypsilon, Fiona and Chiricio are.

Watch it if you get a chance. I am a big Votoms fan and got many kits and goodies from it.
That includes the Volks 1/8 Resin Scopedog + Upgrade kits for it(costs about 1.300USD if you can get a copy).

For $1300, that must be some incredible stuff. Have any pictures?

"Water-003" and "Bapona with Go-Ble" from Girls Tech Skin by Kia Asamiya, got all 5 kits officially only 4 were released.

Wow, I never really associated the two at all. KOR actually reminded my wife of Touch. I'd like to get into Touch, but 1. I don't care about baseball (could get around that if the plot's good), and 2. the art style just looks weird to me.

As for Maison Ikkoku, I've never watched the show, but I was collecting the translated manga for awhile. I was in college, and at the time I had a difficult time with the premise of the series, about how he wants a widow to move on with her life and open up to new romance. Even still, the concept is strange to me. If my wife were to pass away, I don't know how long it would be before I'd be ready to remarry, or if I ever would. I guess I'm just oversensitive about stuff like that, but I'm sure you'd have more of a reason to be sensitive about that than me.

Sorry, I didn't mean anything by that, Bike. It's just that Maison Ikkoku made me sad, while most people probably wouldn't think about such things.

OK, thanks. The only Clamp I ever cared for was Cardcaptor Sakura. It was cute, and it put some thought into the "magical girl" genre.

As far as Clamp goes, since I like fantasy and action, I liked the RG Veda anime. Been too long since I saw it to have any decent conversation on it, though.

The X movie was also good; couldn't get into the series, though.

I have a ton of anime I have yet to watch. Once my daughter was born, anime slowed down a bit, but I could still watch a bit when she was a tiny baby. Lately I don't get to watch much at all. Especially now, with all of my stuff finally being shipped from Los Angeles Harbor to Japan this week. Still, once she gets older, I should have quite a library to share with her. I'm sure she'd be into Cardcaptor Sakura, however I'm not so sure about the pseudo-gay stuff with Shaoran and Yukito. It turns out to not be the case, but still... I'm not sure at which age to try to explain that sort of stuff to her.

Oh bother; why'd they have to make Madoka a wrestler?

Seems like every few episodes Madoka has some new ability/talent. Gets a little bit annoying.

Well, maybe that's part of the point: looking from the outside, Madoka is so strong and talented, but she still has weakness on the inside.
