It's probably part of the deal the company agreed to for North American release...I hear a lot of companies are paranoid about Japanese consumers buying American releases because they're cheaper. (And they don't want them to because they'd get less money that way.) Any way you could ask a relative to do it for you & ship it to ya once it comes out? Or maybe even someone here could do it for you.

New interview with Anime Sols. I seriously love these guys and praise them for their goals! One company truly respecting anime.

I am overjoyed that Creamy Mami actually made it to the goal--not only made it, but surpassed it! I'm really hoping that with Black Jack coming up just around the corner, they can get it to goal as well. :D

It's unclear if Creamy Mami will be widely available or if it'll only be sold to the people to pledge. They don't specify it on their FAQs. I would HOPE that after the pledgers get their sets that any leftovers will be for sale on their website. I'll shoot them a question about it on Twitter.

Black Jack the TV series ended up getting fully funded! I actually don't like the TV series as much as the OAV...BUT they hinted that if the TV show got funded, they'd try to put up the OAV series, so I was excited to see it meet its goal. :D

Thanks! Tell them that you have a friend who was unable to pledge because he lives in Japan (because streaming is prohibited in Japan), but that he wants to be able to buy the DVDs.

That's basically what I said! Haven't gotten an answer yet, but soon as I do I'll post it here, too.

Ok, I got a reply from someone who works for Anime Sols: YES, funded titles will be available to purchase on DVD online via The RightStuf (and other retailers) for international fans as well as latecomers. :D
