I am really happy it's doing extremely well in only 3 or so days! WOO! I won't be able to pledge till towards the end of it though.

If I remember correctly, Kickstarter doesn't charge you until the end of the drive if they make their goal. I know the Japanese anime variant thing charged immediately once they hit their goal, but whether you pledge now or near the end I think you'll actually get CHARGED at the same time on Kickstarter. (although, at last check all the limited rewards were gone anyway, so no real difference in what you'd pledge towards AFAIK)

Yup! You won't get charged a dime until the end of the 30 days, so you can jump on it whenever!

According to the latest project updates, Robert Woodhead actually found a bunch of promo posters (something like 100 of them?) and a few random cels, so he's actually going to be adding new tiers for these bonus items tonight at 8pm EST for anyone interested. I'd add one of the posters to mine, but Nitro's actually getting me the basic set as an early xmas gift, so I don't wanna be greedy and ask for one. (Sadly. I'd totally love a BGC poster, but ah, well. More incentive for other people to donate, heh.)

Yeah I know you won't get charged till the end, but I just want to be sure of my funds. Money has just been very tight lately for me, so I don't want to get it now without knowing if I'll actually have it in the 30 days.

I would love one of those posters. I think I saw the same poster for sale once on eBay and I was watching it, but missed out.

That's understandable! I know that feeling.

I was disappointed to see that the poster add-on is a lot more than I expected. I was thinking it'd be an extra $15, MAYBE $20...but it's more like an extra $25-30. :| I know those posters are old, but geez.

Oh my cow, I had that old AnimEigo BGC poster of Priss! I had another one of the four girls standing in front of Genom Tower, and it was rather Blade Runner-esque. The Priss one was framed, and I accidentally left it behind on a wall when we moved out of our house in North Phoenix in '11. I think the other one may have been underneath it. Crap...

Aww! I'm sorry to hear that. That's like...I had a really beautiful Sailor Moon print/poster from 1000 Editions back when they were doing prints of Oh My Goddess! and Sailor Moon. But I couldn't find it before I moved so it's most likely buried in some dark corner of my ex's basement (if it hasn't been ruined & thrown out already). Which always makes me sad, considering you can't find those anymore.

Japan and North America are the same region, but you might not be able to play discs from Europe.

Blu-ray players are indeed much cheaper now. And not just no-name brands. You can get some models from 2010 or 2011 for less than $60 new these days. I have a 2010 Samsung model and it is still working. Bought it about two years ago for $60.

According to Robert Woodhead's latest KS update email, the total with the Paypal donations got to over $160,000! Pretty impressive.

I keep forgetting to post about it here, but I actually contacted Mr. Woodhead about helping with the project, so I'm in the middle of editing a DVD full of settei scans that'll be part of the bonus material stuff! (I'm basically editing all the spots/scan marks off and making the pages look nice and clean.) The DVD he mailed me has over 300 scans, so...yeah. That'll be a decent gallery of settei when it's done. :D
