I use Hola, which is free and has Chrome and Firefox extensions. I use it almost exclusively for Netflix instant. I recently subscribed to Funimation's streaming service but I can't get it to work very well at all, unfortunately.
Part of the problem is the way that Hola works; it has full support for very popular streaming websites like Netflix or Hulu but Funimation has no official support. There are some custom Hola scripts but it barely works.

Just bought a Roku 2 XS because they dumped them at the local Target to make room for newer models. Cost was only $35CAD total. There is an app for Daisuki.net I think.

I'm pretty sure that someone in Japan was probably in charge of it, because it feels a lot like Nico Nico Douga in some ways--but NND isn't a popular website outside of Japan, so it can seem muddled and/or confusing at times. (Not to mention pretty plain and boring...not to say sites like Crunchyroll are amazing from a design standpoint, but they make a little more sense, at least.)
The site is based in Japan, but aside from content it's [himitsu].

Really? That's kind of surprising. Some of the English on it sometimes has struck me as sounding like it came from a non-native speaker...some of the wording just sounds "unnatural" to me--like "All of the Anime on DAISUKI are official versions", "DAISUKI Store NOW OPEN High quality, Japanese products for your collection", etc. Their Twitter also sounds like a non-native speaker sometimes ("Christmas mood everyone?").
Not that it bothers me, I actually think it's pretty cute.
