By Birdman, you mean Harvey Birdman? Hated that show. Loved the 60s Hanna Barbera productions, especially Space Ghost, Jonny Quest, Shazzan, The Herculoids, Frankenstein Jr. & The Impossibles, etc. one reason I got my dish was to watch it all again on the Boomerang channel. I went out and got the DVDs when they became available. Ah, 60s nostalgia...

Oh, you mean on the Toonami ep? Birdman was the show that Harvey Birdman parodied using the same characters in different situations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birdman_an ... alaxy_Trio

Yeah, saw it once. Hated it. Still do. Now if it's Birdman (Michael Keaton), never saw it. It got a 1 day release in my town. Slap in the face that Keaton didn't get the Oscar yet the film itself did...

The next ep will be the second in my "Saturday Anime" series, all about the first Tenchi movie, Tenchi Muyo In Love! If you guys have any questions, comments, or topic ideas you'd like to hear about for it, lemme know! We'll be recording in the next week or two. ;)

Cool episode! I've never seen Ai City, but it was certainly a good choice for a ReView. I may check this out if I come across it some day!

Great choice on the topic! As usual, I'm going to request to hear a bit about the music used in the movie. If I'm not mistaken, I think there's an interview with the composer, Christopher Franke, as a bonus feature on the older DVD release from Pioneer/Geneon.

Oh, and speaking of Pioneer/Geneon, don't forget to mention what the original DVD cases for this release (and some of the others) were like: the movies came in CD Jewel Cases with an insert, and that slid into a cardboard slipcase that was roughly DVD-sized. I can get you pictures for this version of the DVD if you like. Though it was later re-released in a standard DVD case, those original releases have some charm! :D

oh! I think I vaguely remember seeing this at a Suncoast video back in the day. If you could get a picture of that, I'd totally appreciate it! I tried looking it up online and couldn't find anything...
