I've been too lazy to try it out, since I'd have to get fansubs of it, but I've heard a lot of people say they're enjoying it. I know next to nothing about it so I can't really say. but I basically have the same mindset. If you like it, then enjoy it, and don't let other people's opinions get ya down.

No disrespect, but nobody's opinion can get me down. I would have to honestly care what they're saying. Very very few people out there I care what their opinion is. And even if I DO care, if I think they're wrong, that's just the way it is. Opinion is emotion based. You can't argue emotion.

Mind, that doesn't mean everybody is a screaming idiot (even when it sure seems like it. More and more I'm glad i avoid the hateful poison, the super toxic environment of Twitter) and my default setting is "people are cool until they prove they're not' so, ya know, all youse folk are OK. :)

Macross Delta has a lot of energy. The songs are catchy. I'm really interested in seeing where the story goes. I suspect we're gonna start seeing plenty of Mercat (not Seacat, sorry) plush animals start to appear. The crazy elaborate costuming of the antagonists will be attractive to some cosplayers.

I think the show is worth seeking out by 'Gordie Howe' means as the whole Harmony-Gold bullcrap will prevent a legit release in the U.S.

That's a great mindset to have, sir! I agree wholeheartedly.

Yeah, sadly I don't see HG unlocking their grip over the Macros brand anytime soon, unless someone offered them HEAPS of money. Sigh.

No, what it takes is for Bandai to get off their ass and say "hey, we need to make money in America on Macross stuff. HG, you're done" and file huge company destroying law suit. They could do it. I cannot see how it's legal for a company like HG to own overseas rights FOREVER. Some might cite the Taiwan nonsense concerning Ultraman but that involved a stolen (or illegally copied) hanko stamp on a contract.

I think Macross Delta would find a receptive audience in America. It's got love stories and politics and hot mecha battle action (with some occasionally dodgy CG, sorry to say :) ) and pretty girls doing stuff and drama and everything. It all seems to work OK so far.

I have no idea how many episodes are planned. I hope more than 13 (or 12), there's a fair amount of story to burn thru.

I could definitely see that working. I doubt HG would have the money to pay for lawyers. They talk a big talk about how much they have "planned" at any given time, but I think no ones ever actually challenged them before.

Hopefully if it does only have 12 or 13, they'll continue with a second season after. That's what happened with Iron Blooded Orphans, at least! And since Macross does well in Japan, I don't see why they wouldn't.

Well, we're up tooooooooo *flip flip* episode 11 and there's a TON of story points to get through so I'm guessing 26. They've barely got the merchandising machine up and running so 12 or 13 episodes doesn't seem right.

Take it with a grain or three of salt, the wiki might make you interested. :)

Macross Delta episode 12: OK, so it must be continuing because there's no possible way they'd end the show with this.

Bakuon!! episode 12. Well damn. I guess this one IS over. In a way it might be a blessing because from this point forward it could get really repetitive and bogged down, but I think there were at least 6 more stories that could be told. And I really kinda wanted to see more Motorcycle Jesus. :)

I just finished up Walking Dead season 6, and because of how the show likes to entice viewers with cliffhangers, I am looking forward to how season 7 starts out. I feel that this past season is actually the best one so far, since it seems that the people that wind up doing stupid things about half of them stay alive, and the other half im like "yep, there gonna die just waiting for it to happen." The one thing that show does well is keep me sucked in and knows how to entertain the audience, even if some of plot gets stupid sometimes. Thats all I gotta add.

I honestly don't know if I'll be onboard with Walking Dead s. 7. I don't read the comic but there are those that watch and read and treat it as 'tragedy porn', actually eagerly awaiting for s**t to happen, plans to fail and people die. They are VERY excited about what they think season 7 will produce.

I'm not keen on that. I'd like the TV show to be its own world, sometimes informed by events in the comic. There are already some characters in the show that aren't in the comic, others that are different interpretations, others that have had different fates. I'd like to see 'our heroes' struggle but have some hope.
