I'm really surprised you didn't make a bigger deal of the whole Maetel and "My daddy is a pendant and my mommy is queen of the machine people!!" deal. Having your daddy hanging around your neck and bitching at you must have been a huge part of her eternal sorrow.

The Galaxy Express 999 movie is as good as it is because Rin Taro was seriously at the top of his form and I get the impression he was completely let loose. Plus, Toei was willing to throw money at it because they wanted some of that sweet sweet 'Yamato Boom' money.

Galaxy Express 999 Eternal Fantasy exists only to celebrate that 1999 was coming and to promote that short-lived 999 Manga that, like so MUCH Matsumoto (or his media production person) product from that period, never really finished. It just stopped.

High point of Eternal Fantasy: Song by The Alfee. Seriously, way more epic then the actual movie.

Yeah, he emailed me & asked me to come on. I don't know anyone there personally (well, save for my friend Amy who writes reviews for em sometimes) so I assume he just likes my work!

My podcast seems to be going well? I mean, I don't get many complaints at least & I think I'm doing OK so that's all that really matters to me~

That is still pretty cool that he contacted you, so that might be my next ANNCast i'll listen too, since I do like when they have guest on the podcast.
